The Bolarinwa-led Kwara All Progressives Congress has debunked the report of its search for an alternative party describing the news as unfounded and bereft of objective reportage.
In a statement released and signed by the Party State Publicity Secretary, Barrister Ibrahim Sharafdeen, and sent to newsmen in Ilorin, the state capital on Saturday, the party said: “Our initial reaction was to ignore this unfounded information which in its entirety bereft of objective reportage but calculated at misleading the public.
“However, It is illogical to wish that the landlord would ever quit the house for the tenants. Rather, the landlord has every power and authority to send the recalcitrant and obstinate tenants away from the house.
“After a sober reflection, We feel there is the need to publicly debunk the negative innuendoes in the news. To this end, the Bolarinwa-led exco hereby reiterate that there is no such news of dumping the party rather the figment of the writer’s imagination.
“As responsible and committed party men, We, therefore, urge our teeming party members and the general public at large to disregard the information as we sail through the promised land.”
