…set to feed 4 thousand more in Ogun, Kaduna, Enugu, and Rivers states

Popular Communication company, the Airtel Network in collaboration with an International restaurant, Chicken Republics on Monday begins ‘5 days of love’ on feeding a thousand in Ikeja, the Lagos state capital.
The eventful celebration was held at the Nigerian Institute of Journalism (NIJ) Football arena in Lateef Jakande House, Ogba, Ikeja, Lagos state.

According to the organisers, The event is aimed at “Feeding five thousand people from five different locations tagged #Airtel five days of love”.
The spokesperson of the organizers who is also a staffer of the CMC connect, a subsidiary of Airtel network, Mrs Mercy disclosed that today’s event marks the first day of the “5 days of love”.
Speaking with THE ELITES WATCH reporter, Mrs Mercy said, “The programme is about Airtel being a socially responsible network and celebrating the festive season with the citizenry. This is not the first time and it’s something the network has been doing for years.
“It’s five days of love and during these days they will be showing love to people around and across five states and for this year the five states would be Lagos, Kaduna, Enugu, Rivers and Ogun states.
She further said, “Lagos is the first for this year and Tomorrow will be Ogun state followed by the other states within the week; The plan is to feed one thousand people per state for these five days which will make five thousand people.”
The colorful event which commenced by noon was attended by lots of people including the students and some staff of the Nigerian Institute of Journalism.
Students and staffers of the NIJ were seen fascinated with the programmes of event as they enjoy their meal.

Also in attendance were the Ojodu LCDA Chairman, Hon. Olusegun David among several notable public figures.
