Yet again, the Kwara State University, Malete, has lost another staff, Hameed Adekunle Hanafi. This is coming barely five days after the demise of the deputy bursar of the university, Abdullahi Olaitan Ayuba.
The late Hanafi, a lecturer and Associate Professor in the institution, died in Ilorin, the state capital on Monday after a brief illness.
Recall that Ayuba who was until his demise the Deputy Bursar of the Kwara State University, Malete, died while watching the Nigeria/South Africa AFCON 2024 match last Wednesday after he reportedly developed high blood pressure.
The late Hanafi, however, was Born on December 27, 1968, at Babaloke, Moro Local Government Area of the state.
He joined the services of Kwara State University in 2022.
He held several positions and lectured in various institutions including, the School of Law, Kampala International University, Uganda; Kogi State University, Faculty of Law, Ayigba; and Al-Hikmah University, Faculty of Law, Ilorin, among others.
He was survived by a wife and two children.
