The National Youth Service Corps on Saturday night holds its welcome party for the batch C stream II prospective corps members amidst fanfare across the 36 States orientation camps in the country.
The welcome party featuring intra-tribe dancing, food and drinks competition were part of the program and social activities expected to keep prospective corps members lively ahead of the swearing-in ceremony scheduled for next Tuesday.
Borno state camp orientation broadcasting service reports that the welcome party witnessed a carnival-like event and winners of each competition emerged through a fun-filled contest.
At the welcome party ground in Borno state camp, songs from each tribe across the strata of the country were played, for the Hausas, the popular“Zee baby Dance”, Ade Ori Okin for the Yorubas, and Phyno/Zubby for the Igbos was joyfully danced to.
