• I won’t compromise with party’s exco, says Temidire
Crisis erupted at Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s ward in Adewole, Ilorin on Sunday following the release of N8 Million Kwaprenuer funds to the All Progressives Congress, APC youths beneficiaries.
In a video earlier obtained by THE ELITES WATCH, Some angry youths were seen chanting war songs, cursing, and hurling abusive words on Gov. AbdulRazaq over what they termed as insensitive and betrayal nature of the ruling APC government.

The youths in their numbers disclosed that the eight (8) slots allegedly given to the governor’s crony, AbdulMajeed Temidire better known as ‘Aburo Gomina’ to be shared among the youths were cornered to favour some of his cronies.
A top source disclosed to this medium that a sum of N8 Million was truly given to Adewole ward as its quota in the Kwaprenuer 2.0, revealing that instead of them to share the money among the party members who are business owners, “the governor ally in the ward hijacked the money in favour of his associates.”
He said, “The Governor allotted 8 slots to us at Adewole ward which were meant to be shared among party executive and stalwarts who are business owners but unfortunately the N8 million was cornered by the governor’s crony in favour of his friends and relatives.”
It was gathered that the money was released to a party stalwart, AbdulMajeed Temidire popularly called ‘Aburo Gomina’ who is expected to subsequently distribute it among the eight (8) beneficiaries.
This is in sharp contrast to the publications by the state government that youths across the state who are business owners and have pitched their businesses were the original beneficiaries.
According to a concerned Kwara who graced the kwarapreneur 2.0 event held at the state government banquet hall, Abdulganiyu Olaitan, he described the kwarapreneur 2.0 as a setback celebration and party funding strategy.
In his opinion article, he said, “Just to have a piece of clear evidence, I move into the banquet hall where the event is taken place and I saw nothing more but a real definition of ‘This is an APC program’. Are we here for Kwapreneur or APCpreneur?
“As I move into the hall of the program it is so unfortunate that no pitching and showcase of business ideas and products is taken place.
“What comes to mind is how do they get this list? To get more insight, there was a registration point at the corner of the banquet hall entrance where some gentlemen are documenting accounts of beneficiaries. I said to them I wanna get registered, I have a business that needs support, I was challenged who is your referral/sponsor/principal. which means a son of nobody can’t make it to the list. Just a true meaning of nepotism and favouritism at its peak.”
When contacted via a telephone call, AbdulMajeed Temidire confirmed that the N8 Million Kwaprenuer funds were truly given to him, he added that the money meant for the eight (8) beneficiaries who went through the processes and merited the slots was asked to be shared among the ward executives.
“The APC executives and stalwarts at Adewole ward wanted the N8 Million meant for Kwaprenuer beneficiaries to be shared among them. I explained to them that the money is meant for 8 beneficiaries who had passed through the processes and merited the slots.
“They didn’t want to agree with me. They want to compromise with them to squander the money without achieving the purpose that it was for. The Kwaprenuer money is meant to equip young business owners in order to enable them thrive and grow bigger in their various investments.
“I have been upright in my dealings and that’s the major reason why the state government has always entrust me with money. This is not the first time I am giving such task and I will not compromise due to threat and intimidation,” he expressed.
When our reporter requested for the names of the beneficiaries to clear the allegation that he cornered the slot in favour of his friends and relatives, Temidire refused to release the names of the beneficiaries, claiming that it may be used by the opposition to score political gains.
