…to award personalities across party divides
A Pan-Kwara Youth group, Kwara Youths In Politics is set to host its maiden political hangout for Kwara Youths on Thursday in Ilorin, the state capital.
According to the organisers, the event is expected to bring together youths and gladiators across political divides in the state.
Further details by the organisers revealed that the Personal Assistant to the Honourable Minister of Interior, Teju Adunni Olohungbebe is the Chief Host while the Kwara Youths In Politics, Ifelodun Local Government Chapter will be hosting the maiden edition.
Also, Kwara Deputy Governor, Mr. Kayode Alabi is expected to grace the event as the Special Guest of Honour alongside Chieftains and State Party Chairmen across political divides in the state namely: Hon. Bashir Omolaja Bolarinwa; Rt. Hon. Babatunde Muhammed; Prince Sunday Fagbemi; Comrade Charles Olufemi Folayan; Hon. AbdulAkeem Ajinikirun.
Comrade Abdullateef Ishowo, a Public Affair Analyst to deliver a keynote address with the theme, New Politics for Good Governance.
Also, the honourable representing Ilorin East/South at the House of Representatives, Hon. Cook Olododo; the honourable representing Share/Oke-Ode at the state assembly, Hon. AbdulRazaq Owolabi and his counterpart representing Ojomu/Balogun at the state assembly, Hon. Saheed Popoola have been penciled in for award by the youth group.
The awardees will be honoured during the event.
Others to bag awards include the state chairman of the Action Alliance (AA), Hon. AbdulAkeem Ajinikirun; Member, Kwara PDP Reconciliation Committee; Comr. Nura Muhammed and Youth Progressive Party State Publicity Secretary, Barr. Anifowoshe Titilope.
The Award session is an avenue to celebrate the dedication, selflessness, resilience, and commitment of the award nominees towards youth activities programs and events that evolve around Social Change.
The committee also added that arrangements are in top gear to beam the event to viewers via live streaming.
