No fewer than six trucks of grains have been distributed across the fifty-seven wards of the five local government areas of Kogi Central District by the Senator representing the district at the National Assembly, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan to ease the economic hardship among the constituents.
A statement by the Senator’s media team, disclosed that the palliative was funded by the federal lawmaker to ease the effect of economic hardship ravaging the country.
The lawmaker directed that the grains including 7,200 bags of rice, beans, and millet should be distributed among the diverse group of people within the Kogi Central Senatorial District.

Beneficiaries of the palliative include Muslim and Christian communities; Drivers, Okada/ Keke Unions; Pensioners; Hausa/ Fulani and Yoruba communities, amongst others.
Reaffirming her commitment to addressing the plights of her constituents, Senator Natasha Akpoti assured that irrespective of party affiliations, the palliative should be distributed among the designated people within the Kogi Central Senatorial district.
She, however, promised to provide the best representation to the people of her district.
