Throngs of Youths under the aegis of Kwara Youths In Politics has expressed optimism as a young businessman, Politician, and Stalwart of the Social Democratic Party in Kwara, Hon. Kareem S. Idowu Olomoh popularly called KSI on Sunday purchased Nomination and Expression of Interest forms to contest for the Omupo State Constituency seat at the Kwara State House of Assembly.
It could be recalled that Olomoh had announced his declaration during a stakeholder’s meeting held at Omupo Township Hall, last month in Ifelodun local government area of the state.
According to reports, he pledged to sponsor bills that would bring succour and relief to the good people of Kwara State particularly his constituency if elected.
In a statement released by KSI Media Team, on Sunday, in Ilorin, the state capital, the hopeful House of Assembly Aspirant appreciated the overwhelming support received from the youths, delegates and leaders currently drumming support for his ambition.
He added that he would ensure Omupo Constituency takes her pride of place in the legislation if elected.
Olomoh said, “I appreciate party delegates and leaders of our great party. Despite their busy days, their love shown toward my ambition remain constant and unshakable. I want to again assure everyone that I have the sagacity to deliver.
“I have no doubt that I will defeat other candidates in other parties. I am no longer after the party primaries because the delegates and my party leaders already know my antecedent and I will continue to remain loyal to their call, all for unanimous development in Omupo Constituency.”
Meanwhile, the Agbeku born businessman and investment strategist have debunked the rumour flying across the social media claiming that he has stepped down his ambition.
Olomoh affirmed that he is still in the race and won’t step down for anyone as he is confident of victory.
“I am using this avenue to announce to my lovers that I have not dropped my ambition to contest for the Kwara State House of Assembly seat. I am still in the race and will surely contest for the ticket at the party primary. I am very sure of victory.
“I am imploring the good people of my constituency to remain calm and wait for the outcome of the party primary. Any news that is not coming from me directly should be disregarded. The broadcast message claiming that I had stepped down is just a rumour concocted by other contenders.
“I appreciate the teeming youths, women in politics, religious leaders, and elder statesmen for your massive support and encouragement. We are on this journey together, I promise not to fall short of your expectations from me,” he expressed.
