A young businessman, Politician, and Stalwart of the Social Democratic Party in Kwara, Hon. Kareem S. Idowu Olomoh popularly called KSI, on Thursday, met with those who benefitted from his free JAMB forms.
He spoke with the beneficiaries during a Leadership Booth Camp organized by him and held at Igbomina Hall, Ganmo, in Kwara State.
Recall that Idowu had distributed writing materials to indigent students across various Secondary schools in Ifelodun Local Government Area of the state.
According to reports, the young businessman distribute to each primary school two packs of writing materials and 4packs each to secondary schools, saying the number of schools he visited was thirteen (13) in total; ten (10) primary schools and three (3) secondary school across Ifelodun local government.
He further promised that very soon he will start giving out free JAMB to indigent students across Ifelodun Local Government Area of the state.
Fulfilling his pledge, the SDP Stalwart hosted the JAMB beneficiaries at a Leadership Booth Camp where he advised them to fasten their belts ahead of their forthcoming examinations.
Speaking at the Leadership Booth Camp, the resource person, Adigun Muiz enjoined the beneficiaries to be advocates of good governance.
He encouraged them to be good ambassadors of their respective local governments, charging them all to participate actively in the election process of their representatives.
Muiz said, “We must make sure we repay kindness in our little way whenever we see one. A good turn they said deserves another. We must try to identify those who have been there for us before the election and repay them duly by voting them into power. These categories of individuals we already know do help the less privileged even before the electioneering campaign will surely perform when elected into office.
“Let us all go and obtain our Permanent Voters Card and ensure we cast our vote wisely come 2023,” he added.
One of the beneficiaries, Ajisefini Samuel who hails from Igbaja appreciated Hon. Kareem S. Idowu for the kind gesture, praying to God Almighty to replenish his pocket.
Another beneficiary, Yusuf Ridwan from Mosudo, also thanked Hon. Idowu for the great initiative, promising on behalf of his fellow beneficiaries to perform well in their forthcoming examinations.
“I commend this great initiative by Hon. Idowu. He has shown a high degree of cheerfulness and benevolence. If we have more of his kind who help people without minding the tribe and religion, we would have a better society,” he expressed.
The JAMB beneficiaries were said to be carefully selected across various political wards in Omupo and Share/Oke-Ode Constituencies in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State.
Present at the Leadership Booth Camp were; the Principal of Agbeku Secondary Commercial School Agbeku (ASCOSA), Mr Jide Afolabi, Comr Mukhtar Alakoro Teacher From Senior Secondary school Mosudo, Mr Jamiu Saka Teacher from Government Secondary school Agunjin and many others.
